Naturopaths complete a 4-year bachelor of health science degree which includes nutrition, herbal medicine prescribing, counselling, pharmacology (to ensure an understanding of drug-herb-nutrient interactions), pathophysiology (i.e. how diseases develop and progress), and clinical practice.
